Country music helped start the radio, publishing, and recording industries in Nashville. All of these factors are still contributing to the growth of its economy today.

The population of Nashville is still expanding, and the demand for housing, restaurants, hotels and other amenities are also rising. The value of land increases as Nashville continues to be a hot city [1].

Country music has allowed for Nashville to create its own culture. Nashville is now a music destination for a wide array of artists. The city's early musical roots fostered the growth of the country genre, which, in turn, allowed for the unique development of the city of Nashville.

In conclusion, country music has had an almost entirely positive effect on Nashville. The city is still expanding today, and most of its distinctive characteristics derive from its musical history.
